Our products and services are based on many years of practical and theoretical experience, and an intimate knowledge of the industries. Products and services are based on industry best practice and presented in layman's terms.
Smart Staff International reviews existing site work instructions / procedures / training materials to identify opportunities for cost savings and suggest options to improve and align existing content for our clients.
We enlist the support of clients team operators to take part in the process of developing the manuals, placing emphasis on the need for their involvement; with Smart Staff International recording the way operations / processes are conducted, and writing up the documents developed from the hands-on procedures. We discuss with client representatives, current practices, document location, format and accessibility, then determine the operational needs and requirements of the proposed documentation.
We can also assist with documentation in the form of Hazard Identification, Job Safety Analysis and Risk Management Assessment to meet legislative requirements and the relevant Standards. Smart Staff International develop standard operating procedures to: identify a machine and use pictures to visually communicate the operation / process / sequence of events - what to look for, where to find it, why, what to do with it, when, and how. Our work instructions explain what the consequences of an event will be, or what will happen if the process is not followed, or if plant is not operating at optimum performance levels.
Smart Staff International also creates the documentation that identifies how to recognise 'reportable incidents' and prevention of occurrences and how to record this information so as to contribute to proactive trend analysis.
We undertake the mapping of learning pathways against nationally accredited training. This process is undertaken in conjunction with enterprise personnel, and verified by a qualified and industry experienced assessor.
Create operations manuals through the process of capturing processes on camera, with minimum disruption to the work processes, observing, talking and confirming the activities with the operators while they undertake the role.
Include the use of hyperlinks in documentation to relevant related critical information. Smart Staff International also create competency assessment forms for each standard operating procedure. This allows clients to assess the competency of their personnel directly against their standard operating procedures These are also designed to allow mapping against the Metalliferous Mining Training Package. All documents are provided in a hard copy for review and an electronic word copy on disc.
Smart Staff International can also provide personnel to lead or assist with plant commissioning and carry out operator training with existing or new personnel.
